Learn while you build
Design, code, circuits, 3D model - gain skills as you create while building a real prototype.
STEM Program
CurioLab is a creative STEM space where middle and high school students team up with mentors to turn ideas into real, working projects. Each semester begins with a challenging project prompt. Then it’s all about designing, building, and testing a prototype from start to finish.
At CurioLab, the focus isn’t only on the final prototype. It’s on the journey.
Students learn to problem-solve, think creatively, and collaborate with their mentors every step of the way. By the end of the semester, they leave with not only a working project but also the skills and confidence to take on challenges far beyond the lab.
Design, code, circuits, 3D model - gain skills as you create while building a real prototype.
There are no grades at CurioLab. Students are here to enjoy creating something of their own. They build skills by making a personal project they can be proud of.
Our program is hosted in Think[Box] at Case Western Reserve University, offering a state-of-the-art makerspace.
No registration fee. 100% free program.
Every student is unique. Each with different learning style, talents, and interests. That’s why each student is paired with a mentor who works with them throughout the semester.
Each term is one semester long, once a week, 3 hours long. We are committed to supporting students beyond a single term, and we warmly welcome returners who want to keep building with us.
